Help Spread The Word – Unsafe Ice
Conditions In Your Community

Ice on a river breaks apart.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) needs your help spreading critical ice safety messaging across the state. We’re asking you, our partners, to assist in communicating this important safety reminder that no ice is safe ice.

Temperature swings, mixed precipitation and other factors are making ice unsafe to walk or drive on across much of the state, despite recent snowfall and subzero temperatures.

To make it easier for you to amplify this message to help protect your community, we’ve created a series of graphics, social media posts, images and a draft news release that you can download and use in any communications you plan to issue on this topic.

Credit to the Wisconsin DNR is appreciated on all assets but not required.

If you’d prefer to amplify the DNR’s messaging or share from our profiles rather than posting to your own social, that would also be helpful.

Thanks for spreading the word however you’re able and helping keep your constituents and communities safe over the coming days!
